MeTube is what I use. It's basically a web-ui for youtube-dl. Easily containerized.
If you want more features also check out Tube Archivist. Tip: You can create a playlist on youtube and just add everything you want as an mp3 to it. Ask TA to monitor the playlist and boom you always have all your stuff locally without the need to copy paste URL onto some website or whatever
