Whew, so by a 'split screen' mod I'm assuming you mean letting two people play the game at the same time, on the same machine, with the monitor split into two views, one for each player? That's not even remotely a 'normal' mod and would require significant alterations to the game's code. For starters, Skyrim is not a multiplayer game - Skyrim Together changes this, but works with a server-client model where one player hosts the game and everyone has their own machine and own copy of Skyrim running. If you wanted two-player you'd need to do something similar - two copies of Skyrim running, either on one insane supercomputer or (much more likely) two separate machines, hooked together to both feed video input to a single monitor. To actually make such a thing work you'd need to be a professional-level programmer with expertise in networking, process management, graphics processing, etc.
