  • I'm currently working on a resource pack that mimics the actual rotation of Earth but I'm running into trouble with the custom speed of the skybox. According to this document you can make it so that, for example, at speed=0.5, the skybox rotates at half of the usual rate (360˚ per 24,000 gameticks). This works fine in-game so my assumption is that the skybox rotation speed equation looks something like this:
