How can I learn FizzBuzzEnterpriseEdition-style Object Oriented design?

  FizzBuzz Enterprise Edition is a no-nonsense implementation of FizzBuzz made by serious businessmen for serious business purposes.

  

However I noticed a lot of programmers at work produce a sort of object-oriented design that in my mind is highly reminiscent of this java project https://github.com/EnterpriseQualityCoding/FizzBuzzEnterpriseEdition. FizzBuzzEnterpriseEdition is of course a satirical exaggeration. I personally don't really like this style too much, but I feel it would be a useful tool in my toolbox to be able to produce that kind of design if situation calls for it (e.g. when working on project that is already following this style). Of course I know how to use objects and classes and I am familiar with SOLID principles and GoF patterns, yet when I try to imitate this style I always feel it's falling flat and my code doesn't blend in with the rest (the bigger my code is, the more it stands out as a poor imitation).
