    Missing firmware for Lenovo Thinkpad hardware

    • There is an open bug in fwupd and they have forwared it onto Lenovo, but it doesn't seem to have had much traction. I did comment on it confirming but I've just learnt my account was suspended for some reason (they didn't send an email or anything, and I had only used the account for this specific comment).

    • We've added tests to detect this; but all the OEM QA teams need to actually do the testing with a new enough fwupd: https://gitlab.com/fwupd/lvfs-website/-/merge_requests/1383 -- it's a Lenovo issue that affects both Windows and Linux. The person that needs to be aware of this is grumbling at the right people and hopefully this kind of thing won't happen in the future.
