The Obsidian integration is a third party development using the Todoist API so that is free as well. It is very simple to use and provides the functionality you’d expect: filtering, completion on click, auto-refresh, etc.
I’d vastly prefer a plugin within obsidian to manage tasks but haven’t found one that fits my needs. Obsidian Tasks Did receive some major updates since I last tried it, though.
