dont forget you can buy rigs to store items you want to keep. even bank robbers store 2 more slots than they take up. I suggest buying a few umka rigs from jaeger as they can store 1 4 slot square item such as helmets or grizzlys and store 4 more slots than they take up. For a comprehensive list of items you will need for quest you can check tarkovtracker.io. remove pistol grip and mags from guns to make them take less slots. Like everyone said sell anything you can buy from traders like stanag magazines or 5.45 30 round mags, sell any guns you have that have poor durability.
