Sure, but it's not intended to be. When the site first came up, sequence diagrams were something people wanted to see, so we included it even though D2 didn't have it, and then we built it. Recently I saw in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v8nA-jaHfG4) that Github native support was something the podcasters were looking for, and couldn't find it, and I made an update to include that, even though D2 doesn't have it (https://github.com/terrastruct/text-to-diagram-site/pull/38).
