Greetings! I'm here to tell you about Nostr, a decentralized and censorship resistant social communication protocol that has recently added protocol level support for Moderated Communities. Developers are actively building this on Nostr and would love your help and support. Let us know what you want
Then in your original post on this thread you also mentioned 3 nostr clients that are in the stages of implementing moderated communities; satellite.earth, zapddit.com, nostr.kiwi.

I have a reddit-style community I'd like to convert to nostr

Boost will stop working after July 1st. Thank you very much for your support over the years! πππ
Same here. I have already started migrating to https://github.com/vivganes/zapddit RIP reddit

Might have missed it, but are there any plans to migrate to Lemmy after the API charges kick in?
Nostr.com seems like the best alternative due to the decentralized nature. There's an implementation built on the protocol called https://zapddit.com. is lemmy also on the blockchain and thus censorship resistant?
-
Why do I still use this app
It is fairly easy. https://github.com/TonyGiorgio/onyx is a good client for it. It is twitter like but there are implementations that are reddit and 4chan like as well. The reddit like implementation is https://zapddit.com/
