It sounds like you're set on 3D printing it, but if not, I recently ordered acrylic for this case in black and steel and it turned out really nice. Just be sure to triple check that you have all of the layers ordered - i missed two and had to put a second order in which isn't fun with like $20ish for shipping each time!
