I’m building a backend server that parses an excel file using sheetjs library and return the json to the front (spa) to complete rows infos then send it back to be stored in DB. The problem is : It doesn’t scale for large files (50sec to parse 1.5 mb xlsx). Can you help me to improve this?

If you are doing processing on each row, I would suggest that take a look at this library https://github.com/Claviz/bellboy It’s leveraging node js streams and provides quite a few essentials required for such etl processing.
