Feature Request: external monitor brightness control based on DDCcontrol
There is an issue for that: https://github.com/elementary/wingpanel-indicator-power/issues/41 I can work on that but I didn't found a way to connect to protocol over Dbus like upower.

Installed Elementary onto a MacBook Pro (mid-2012, I believe) and the battery doesn't seem to be charging. Also, the Apple logo stays lit up even after the laptop's closed. More info in the post.
If yes, it's probabily this bug. You can check if the battery is charged by using the command upower -i "$(upower -e | grep -i bat)"
