Nvidia X Server Settings not working
Ubuntu lets you do this without the command line, and Elementary have plans of implementing it, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

It's a common problem. See https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-shell/-/issues/3433 and https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/glib/-/issues/443. There's a similar issue for elementary OS.
