But I figured in the mean time it would not hurt to ask the PopOS Reddit community if there is any other way to solve this problem. This driver problem is so new I could only find one post about this issue. But I assumed from the post OP was using Ubuntu to only mine with, so if they nuked their system trying to downgrade the drivers there be no loss because that was not their daily computer. I use my system as my daily computer (video games and web browsing) and mine in the background (popOS is super stable when it comes to doing both). Here is a link to the post
