Reconstructing Obsidian Features in Vim and Bash
Shameless plug: there's also [wiki.vim](https://github.com/lervag/wiki.vim/), which I believe is starting to be a real contender to Vimwiki.
Regardless: In my experience, Vim + wiki with some additional plugins for fast searching and navigation is a very good combo!

Note-taking system (Second Brain implementation in neovim)
There's really interesting discussion on wiki.vim's issue tracker which we had few years ago. I think it's worth advertising because there are many more details and ideas for notetaking systems: https://github.com/lervag/wiki.vim/issues/101

You could use Markdown based notes with https://github.com/lervag/wiki.vim/.

wiki.vim v0.6 is released
I found the discussion in #289 and wiki-ft.vim#14 pretty interesting. I've been using wiki-ft.vim because every markdown plugin seems to break in some way (broken conceal, broken table highlighting, no injections). I know wiki-ft is not great, but at least it's consistent.
There are also other improvements and bug fixes as outlined in the release notes.

VIMKipedia: Or How I Built My Second Brain Using Vim
I started off with VimWiki, but now use wiki.vim. You won’t regret it if you do the same. The developer is a very nice guy.

Looking for best method to take math notes with figures and images
Perhaps you might also consider wiki.vim combined with regular Markdown and Pandoc? I've written a possibly interesting guide on talking notes here.

Looking for guidance on simplifying my note-taking setup into the terminal
Started using vim-zettel a while ago and it works pretty well, especially seeing as I need to link my notes. It uses vimwiki and fzf, and for git autosync you can use vimwiki-sync. :)

Custom FZF/ripgrep command for creating internal links in markdown?
This is partially done in vim-zettel but does not allow searching through folders.

Is Vim(wiki) the best alternative to Wiki/Zettelkasten apps like Obsidian or Roam?
Have you looked at the vim-zettel plugin? It's an add-on for vimwiki to give more Zettelkasten features.

Bootstrapping Zettelkasten
I'm still a novice at Zettelkasten, but I use vimwiki and zim-zettel in Markdown mode for taking notes.

Vim / VimWiki question: How to open random entry
I use vim-zettel for note taking. Inspired by Readwise, I'd like to start my day by opening a note at random.

[Help] Creating markdown link to local file
I use vimwiki and vimzettel to create a zettelkasten. It’s not designed for neovim specifically but it works great for me.

Documentation... Is it a mess for all of us?
At work we use a self-hosted MediaWiki. Personally I use Vimwiki with vim-zettel and a few other plugins to manage a personal knowledge-base. An intro to Zettelkasten if you're curious about this method for taking notes. Pro-tip: both Vimwiki and Markdown (I write my notes in *.md) can be converted to MediaWiki syntax using Pandoc.

How to map a key sequence after the execusion of a plugin?
I think it's easier to make your own command. ZettelSeach uses zettel#fzf#wiki_search as the sink for fzf selection result. In that function, the variable title seems to the description that you want to capitalize. So this will do the trick
