Setting file icon theme per file type?
I don't think you can do that. You can either submit a request in vscode icons repo, or switch to another theme that has .asm and .s icons. I like Material Icons.

Why does my VS Code doesn't recognize .html as HTML and instead it recognizes .html as HTML?
Make sure that you haven't associated .html files with another language via the files.associations setting. Based on the icon it looks like it's been associated with Django.

Node.js 20.6 adds built-in support for .env files
