Disable the Project Manager for Java extension, or submit a feature request on GitHub.

I've now submitted a PR, microsoft/vscode-java-dependency#434 which fixes the bug. Hopefully it will be reviewed and merged soon, so that it can make it into a release. My guess is that it'll be a few weeks before they release a new version of the extension.

how do people keep track of their projects and todo?
I use a self hosted alternative to Trello named Taskcafé, it may not be the best tool for that but I use it regularly so why not for this

What kind of open source self-hosted solution is needed in your industry?
TaskCafe looks promising as a Trello alternative especially looking at the roadmap.

I recently discovered Kanboard - a free, open source project management app.
I'm currently using https://github.com/JordanKnott/taskcafe, it also has a really pretty UI. Maybe worth trying too!
