was Myroft not meant to be an opensource, *offline* voice assistant ?
Hey, contrary to this, I've found an open source android voice recognition software that works offline, it seems to be very lightweight, it's called Vosk https://github.com/alphacep/vosk-android-demo

Speech to text without Google
If you need English, you can use an app that is in F-Droid, Kõnele, either together with a self-hosted Kaldi GStreamer server running on a computer, or together with an app that isn't in F-Droid (yet!) called LocalSTT, specifically the English fork of it (as it originally includes speech modules for Catalan); this app used Vosk as a local backend on your phone, the same as another poster linked, and integrates seamlessly with Kõnele for providing an actual frontend compatible with Android speech intents.
