vim-surround VS Comment.nvim

I don't know what exactly you mean by pasting around the second selection, but you can paste selections, registers or even files at specific lines with some vim-fu. If it's generic enough you could write a function or even keyboard shortcut if it's very simple.

I have set ",',(,[,{ in visual mode to cut the selection insert the pairs then paste it back as a very hacky solution, but it gets the job done. If you want something more advanced to add or change anything around the selection tpope has solved that with vim-surround[1].

I'm using the vim-surround plugin by tPope and I know I can do ysw to surround words with whatever tag i want, I also know about cst (Change surrounding tag). But I'm wondering if there is a quick and easy way to wrap components. Some components might have closing tag and some components might not.

Vim plugins (without UI) work out of the box. Hello vim-surround, argtextobj.vim and whatnot.

Treesitter is a syntax parser that'll build a tree-like structure to enable anything from excellent syntax highlighting through to complex refactoring. There are so many creative ways you can use Treesitter, from jumping around text objects to commenting sections of code, it's a must-have in my books.

A couple nice quality of life plugins would be: Comment (which lets you use a keybinding to comment/uncomment things), Autopairs (which will make the paired brackets/parentheses/etc.), and Rainbow2 (which color-matches the pairs if things like parentheses).

Nowadays, people (mostly) autogenerate their help docs with either markdown or emmmylua are their source. You are facing an issue that I faced before with Comment.nvim.

Based on your reply I recommend taking out the comment plugin, replacing it with https://github.com/nvim-treesitter/nvim-treesitter-textobjects and https://github.com/numToStr/Comment.nvim
