Config/plugin that adds motions to for navigating helpfiles
I just updated my Vim help mappings after seeing your post. There's mappings (x, s, o) to jump to the different types of links, and TAB jumps between all (well, most) of them. Then I also added ]] and [[ to jump to the different section divider lines. It's not perfect, but you're welcome to try them out, and adapt it to your needs.

Is there a simple way to see if a certain line has unsaved changes?
In a file in ~/.vim/plugins or in ~/.vimrc or ~/.vim/vimrc. The files are in a different location for neovim, I think I just have a symlink from ~/.config/nvim (if I remember correctly) pointing at ~/.vim so that both vim and neovim use the same configuration. My .vim is just a clone of https://github.com/schlueter/dot-vim.
