with Stitcher going away, how do I download episodes to my computer?
https://v2.unofficialrss.com/ is the best way to access the RSS feeds. I’ve used the Downcast app on Mac in the past to bulk download but there’s a lot of options

If the Stitcher App is being removed…
I use this website https://v2.unofficialrss.com/, it generates a rss feed of any podcast from Sticher Premium (as long as you have an account), and just paste the rss feed onto your podcast app, I personally use pocketcast. I’ve been using it for years, due to me hating the Sticher app

Stitcher is shutting down for good on August 29, 2023.
Use https://v2.unofficialrss.com/ and the phone or desktop podcast app of your choice.

Neighborhood Listen episode search
You can download any episodes you want using most any podcast app and the unofficial RSS site, FYI. Then they won't go away until you delete them. I like Pocket Casts for an app, if you don't currently have one.

A simple website to download podcast mp3 files | podcastdownloader.com
I found a great tool for myself as a programmer here but not everybody knows how to set that up https://github.com/akhilrex/podgrab. So I build a simple little website here for anybody who has the same problem.

PodFetch v1.1.0 release
How does it compare to podgrab?
-
Selfhosted podcast player alternative PodFetch
I created an alternative for [Podgrab](https://github.com/akhilrex/podgrab) named [PodFetch](https://github.com/SamTV12345/PodFetch) it contains more features than Podgrab and also includes many bug fixes like a local RSS feed. (Bonus: The backend is written in Rust :D ). You can search podcasts via iTunes or via PodcastIndex.org, download, find local podcasts or subscribe to the local rss feeds.

App suggestions
I am thinking that if users are willing to automate a workflow to download new episodes to their Plex Library ( just came across podgrab (https://github.com/akhilrex/podgrab) which makes me think automating episode download to Plex library should be easy. And then your podcast app can do the magic you have done with Prologue.

self hosted podcasts ?
It looks like there's an option to export an OPML file containing Podgrab feed links, which could then be imported into any application (I like AntennaPod)
