- Can I watch Ring Cameras on my Roku devices? Been in IT for 25 years, am I making this to difficult? There are a dozen links that says it’s not easy like Firetv but it is possible on Roku devices. Have had zero luck.

Twoku app. https://www.twitchonroku.com/ This is how I watch Twitch in my living room. 3rd party app, but the downside is that due to Roku being dumb, stream is on a 30 second delay.

Noob to Home Automation here, wanted to know if I'm looking at doing this task the wrong way?
I have the Roku "skill" with Alexa, but I'm pretty disappointed with the extent of its features. I want to do a lot more than just turn the TV on or off. By default I can launch channels but it seems like it only supports the official roku tv channels, and not something like Twoku.

Twoku gone from Roku?
For everyone's reference, that code comes from the Twoku project's Github page. There's also instructions to sideload the app yourself in case of emergency.

Roku publishes IDK to allow consumers to develop applications for their Roku

Author of that interpreter here - didn't expect to wake up to that repo appearing in a top HN comment! That started as a side project and was maintained during spare work hours (thanks, Hulu!) for the past 3 years, along with a unit testing framework that runs in it (https://github.com/hulu/roca).
