ASUS TUF FX505 Dual Boot Windows 11/Big Sur
I am a complete beginner with opencore have made couple of other PCs into Hackintosh using clover but never a laptop nor with opencore.I tried compiling my own kexts, ssdts, plist etc by watching chris titus tech tutorial and following dortiania guide but it failed miserably it just wont show anything and wont boot.I finally after a-lot of brain boggling and painstaking troubleshoot I stopped and used a premade efi/plist/kexts etc(from this github repo https://github.com/doanhxd/Asus-TUF-Gaming-FX505GE-Hackintosh) one but modified the serial number and other stuff using SMBIOS and select Big Sur inplace of catalina using gibMacOS and took a clean oc shot.I tried to boot and it work completely out of the box and installed big sur within an hour but after booting into the macOS I found out that USB ports are not working and nor does the audio.I tried to troubleshoot it by using the opencore configurator but thats when I got to know that I had forgot to change the opencore files and used the old 0.6.3 version(rookie mistake I guess...) but even then I add alcid=1 and rebooted to see if audio works or not as alcid=1 was missing from the boot statement but it caused a kernel panic.I would request all of my fellow redditors to please help me out,I am making this hackintosh as I am a programmer and wanted to learn swift but I don't have the budget to buy a real mac.
