Any open source audio-players with good UI?
https://github.com/timusus/Shuttle before I switched to an actual MP3 player, this was my go to. Seems like the repository was archived but it should still work - just getting the .apk file in the versions page should be enough.

AMA: How we built Warp, a Rust-based terminal
I have paid for free software. FairEmail is a great example— I could fork it and remove the pay barrier, but then there's no guarantee I'd be able to keep using it. Shuttle is another example. Neovim a third.

Remove ads with in-app purchase
Alright, that sounds plausible. One similar example of which I know is the Phonograph music player. Its free and open source on GitHub. It has in-app purchases that basically unlocks extra cosmetics like additional themes and looks of the app. You can check their source code on how they do it, I guess it would be quite similar to what you would want to achieve. There's also Retro Music which is a fork of Phonograph, same thing with in-app purchases to unlock more cosmetics.
