Where do I even start...
bruno simons three-js-journey is the absolute best course you can get. you can pair this with https://journey.pmnd.rs for an easier understanding of the course material since the original lectures can be a bit interwired. i'd start slowly, use simple shapes and scenes, pick your own pace. you don't have to be a shader whizz to make cool things.

Has anyone who has done Bruno simons THREE.js joureny sucessfully intergrated any of the individual lessons into the 'larger code structuring' module?
I know there's a push to convert the Journey examples to r3f here: https://github.com/pmndrs/threejs-journey

Good resources to learn threejs?
threejs journey is the best possible course you can get. you can combine this with https://journey.pmnd.rs for better understanding of the course material, being able to study a thing in isolation.

Preferred design patterns
I would suggest you do both, that way you will learn much, much quicker. We'll also have the full journey course ready soon: https://github.com/pmndrs/threejs-journey

Using Git trailers, grep, and cherry-pick to generate unlimited combinations of features, stacks, and platforms
If you're a professional software engineer, there's at least a 99.99% chance you know what Git is, and you probably use it almost every day. The tangible work you produce is typically a series of Git commits and branches. The end result is the current version of your application.

First steps in semantic versioning
Now, we’re going to create **commits** implementing the transactional system features: a. Install the initial project configuration and its dependencies. b. Add the login/signup component. c. Implement the allowed transactions. d. Add the user roles. e. Limit the user permissions. f. Implement a public dashboard to display transactions in real-time. g. Implement methods to ensure transaction integrity.

A (decent) way of version control with Hammer
- Ensure you commit your VMF often, your autosave timer in Hammer will probably determine how often you do commit, however nice notes in the commit message are a godsend when it comes to figuring out what revision to go back to.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing threejs-journey and git-commit you can also consider the following projects:
