What is the first thing you do after installing Linux?
Clone my NixOS config from github and move on with the day

New to xmonad, would someone on the latest xmonad and xmonad contrib would be willing to share their config ?
When I first started on Xmonad and Xmobar it took me a bit to get a hang of things. As such, my config is pretty straight forward and should almost work if you just copy and paste the xmonad.hs and xmobar.hs into the correct folders.

[POLL] Which power management tool works best for you ?
For the undervolting? No, I think its some kernal hook for Intel CPUs that NixOS has a defined option for which I have defined here in my dotfiles after fiddling around with how far I can take it haha.

Home-Manager LiteralExample Deprecated
I am reaching out today with a puzzling (at least to me) issue I have recently come across. I have not updated or rebuilt my home.nix configuration recently and now I am looking to but it seems in the mean time something has caused it to break?

New to NixOS
I'd spend a lot of time looking at people's dotfiles, some I used for reference seen here, here and the really good one mentioned by alternateved, and also look though the nixos options on their site.

Starship - A cross shell prompt

Atuin β Magical Shell History
Agreed, I use this in conjunction with Starship [1], both initialized specifically for Fish in the config. I love this shell so much.

Z β Jump Around
It seems like the Rust community is quite happy to support alternative shells. Iβve seen couple of projects, now, that support way more esoteric shells than I would expect, like βxonshβ. Starship (https://starship.rs/) immediately comes to mind.

[MacOS] Setting up zsh in MacOS, any hints, dos/don'ts, advice, or guides?
Until now I have been using bash on Windows with Starship as the prompt. The only reason I went with Starship, is that it was easy to setup and at the time I did not have much free time to devout to the shell/prompt configuration.

Monaspace
I'm staying on BitstromWera Nerd Font. Works great with Starship.
