How to add custom types to a javascript library
Few weeks ago, I started contributing to an open source library called Teaful, a Tiny, EAsy, and powerFUL for React state management, with ambitious roadmap. Now Teaful reached more than 500 GitHub ⭐️ Stars, the library and his community are growing fast.

How do I replace getInitialProps in _app?
The rest seems to be information about the browser, so why not create a react hook, and store this information in a context provider? I can recommend this very neat light library, very easy to use: https://github.com/teafuljs/teaful

Teaful: tiny, easy and powerful React state management
If you want to try it out, I encourage you to go to the README to read the Teaful documentation, see all the options and learn how to get started. There is also an example section where you can try it. We will upload more examples over time.

Get out of state management hell with automatic revalidation
You add the current user state to a React Context or state management library, read from it on the top bar, and write to it after a user signs in. Done. No big deal, right?

## Reselect 5.0:
- Switches to a new `weakMapMemoize` memoizer as default
- Renames `defaultMemoize` to `lruMemoize`
- Allows passing memoizer options direct to `createSelector`
- Many TS improvements
- https://github.com/reduxjs/reselect/releases/tag/v5.0.1
## Redux Thunk 3.0:
- Drops the default export and switches to named exports ( `{thunk, withExtraArgument}` )
This has been a _huge_ year-long development effort!
We're thrilled to get these improvements out. The tooling and bundle improvements will help all users, and we think the features and TS changes will improve the Redux dev experience significantly.
Thank you SO MUCH to everyone who has contributed or helped test out the work!
Please file bug reports for the inevitable issues that pop up post-release!
but now I'm going off on a conf trip and going to take a very well-earned break from Redux work for December :)

You should think about using some client state management libraries like Redux. Redux gives you the possibility to encapsulate states and manipulate it through functions. https://react-redux.js.org/
What are some alternatives?
redux - A JS library for predictable global state management
axios - Promise based HTTP client for the browser and node.js
react-storage-hoc
Express - Fast, unopinionated, minimalist web framework for node.
baobab-react - React integration for Baobab.
recompose - A React utility belt for function components and higher-order components.
react-i13n - A performant, scalable and pluggable approach to instrumenting your React application.
reselect - Selector library for Redux
redux-batched-actions - redux higher order reducer + action to reduce actions under a single subscriber notification
kea - Batteries Included State Management for React
fluorine-lib
cerebral - Declarative state and side effects management for popular JavaScript frameworks
