I also found that tech podcasts can also be an invaluable source of knowledge and have learned a great deal from listening to podcasts such as JavaScript Jabber, Syntax, Coding Blocks and CodeNewbie.

I think sponsorships work better for more niche products on niche podcasts / YT channels. One great example I can think of are the sponsorships on the Syntax Podcast[1]. IIRC LogRocket was a sponsor a few years ago, I gave it a try based off their ad and I've been a happy customer ever since. Other products they rep are things like Sentry and Sanity and I think those companies are definitely seeing an ROI because they keep coming back.

The problem with the sponsorships you mentioned is they are all broad scale B2C where "everyone" is a potential customer. So you end up with channels that have nothing to do with the product promoting the product and it just comes up as disingenuous. When the hosts of Syntax are telling me that I should try out Sentry, Sanity or any other product in the web dev space, I'm much more confident that it's a legit endorsement based on experience rather than just reading the script.

Hey, I think all of you, readers, know about leetcode- a platform for for coding interview preparation. There a lot of good problems to solve and interface is amazing. I started solving leetcode problems about a year ago, but was active only for 3-4 month.

So, if you wanna master DSA by solving DSA-oriented problems, then I can vouch that LeetCode is the best platform out there for you. For the last 400+ days, I’ve consistently solved coding problems on this platform to increase my problem-solving capability and DSA knowledge. Their website's UI, UX, and problem quality are top-notch. In the beginning, get some theoretical knowledge about a specific data structure or algorithm, then solve the problem related to the data structure or algorithm you’ve read. Getting stuck on a problem? See the hints they have given? Still stuck? See the editorial they’ve written on the editorial page. In case the editorial is only for premium users, check out the solution tab. There, you will find different solutions in various languages written by people like you. They also offer a bunch of things, like study plans, courses, and a store (where you can buy things using coins you’ve earned). For those who already know, this is just a reminder, but for those who don't, every week Leetcode has a special contest where a lot of developers try to solve 4 code challenges in a row at 1 hour 30 min.

Firstly, solve some common data structure problems with it. implement some data structures like arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, etc. You can check common problems on LeetCode, Hackerank or some other resources.

I did some traveling around the western US in late 2022 to take stock of where my life was and where I was going. During that time I decided that I would go all-in with my coding education, and committed to learning the remaining material listed on those bootcamp syllabi that I had not yet studied – namely, connecting the pieces of the MERN stack; learning about automated testing and data structures & algorithms; and studying development paradigms & methodologies like Agile, Scrum & Kanban, and OOP design patterns & principles – as well as continue to develop my programming fundamentals on platforms like Leetcode and Codewars.
