svelte-query VS sk-auth

I'm aware there's another Svelte Query here but it seems like it is not maintained and will be incorporated into Tanstack Query.

Until then I use Svelte Query

I like React Query so I would be excited to use this however it doesn't seem ready for Svelte given the docs "Coming Soon" and Svelte Query being relatively unmaintained.

Exactly. That's the big thing I want to work on next. Not sure whether to use Svelte Query or manually cache the data. In an ideal scenario all the API calls are cached because if two users hit the site at the same time, for instance, there's no need to request the same data twice. This is getting to the edge of my skillset but psyched to try to learn this part.

That's it. Nothing highly sophisticated. It is mostly the tech I enjoy and I think is valuable in the future. There are also other libraries I really enjoy, like XState and React Query (there is also Svelte Query). Just to mention a few.

Caching: svelte-query, sswr

I tried to develop authrization with Google Oauth via sk-auth. sk-auth is library of SvelteKit like NextAuth.

Just to update you on the situation, I have decided that my REST API will not deal with user sign-ups or sign-ins. It will basically respond to the requests coming with JWT tokens. My front-end client will do the user sign-ups and sign-ins. Once a user is authenticated I will be setting up an axios or request client with JWT token provided by AWS Cognito to query my back end API. In this case, I'm looking forward to try out Svelte and found a perfect package to do all that very easily which is sk-auth.

Useful if true but I've just integrated sk-auth into my app...

For example https://github.com/Dan6erbond/sk-auth isn't as actively maintained now and doesn't run on CFW.

I have. Quite a bit, actually, as I'm the author of SKAuth which is an authentication library for SvelteKit and am also building a larger side project with Svelte.
