An alternative I’ve been enjoying is @tommertom’s Ionic port (+ Capacitor) for native integration: https://github.com/Tommertom/svelte-ionic-app

Do you use https://ionicsvelte.firebaseapp.com/ or what other configuration do you use? Currently, I'm using Ionic with Angular, but I want to try it with Svelte. I have only used SvelteKit.

Our service worker registration functions draw much from the Create React App PWA Template registration boilerplate, which includes some useful logic like checking for a valid service worker, handling development situations on localhost, and some basic update-checking procedures. These features were a useful starting place, but our use-case required more complexity, which lead to the elaborations described below.

React CRA provides your project with a file which creates and registers a service worker. If your project doesn't have it you can find it here.

For a baseline, go to the cra-template-pwa github.

If you are interested in Workbox's precaching, but you're upgrading from an older create-react-app and you don't have a "correct" src/service-worker.js file, you can manually copy the file from the template into your project.
