Me, emacs, Autism, and ADHD.
my gripe with stumpwm is that it doesn't work very well on multiple monitors. i can't have (easily, without some sort of hack) a set of groups for each monitor, they share the groups, which makes doesn't really fit with how i use multiple monitors (in stumpwm jargon: i can't have a screen per monitor easily, it requires me to do some Xorg mumbo jumbo to get it to work). that said, i don't need hackability from my wm, so i stuck with dwm (without any patches) for the time being. i would recommend investing some time into nyxt though, before delving into stumpwm: it plays very well with Emacs and you can completely "bind" them together (see this and this) allowing for a more pleasant web browsing experience; and i consider having a pleasant and simpler/extensible browsing experience more important than having the same on my window manager.

How can I make Emacs my web browser?
And by the way you can integrate the two: I am trying here https://github.com/ag91/emacs-with-nyxt

Org Roam and Nyxt: taking Zettelkasten notes from the web
I added a new feature to emacs-with-nyxt: creating Org Roam notes on the fly while you are browsing!

Is there something like M-x or ESC : in Nyxt?
u/aartaka this is so cool! I wanted that as well. I am going to add it to my https://github.com/ag91/emacs-with-nyxt :) (Tell me if you mind that XD)

Back to Emacs while in Nyxt: how to edit the web in a Lispy editor
I am not org-capturing yet: I need to polish my https://github.com/ag91/emacs-with-nyxt setup so that the utilities I have shown load automatically (and I have still to remove all those `sleep` from the code). Anyway, I wanted to try that indeed. I particularly need that for taking notes from YouTube videos.
What are some alternatives?
