To be honest I didn't put much thought into the formatting at all - I went with the defaults for the https://github.com/zeroturnaround/sql-formatter library, which is what runs when you click the "Format SQL" button on this page.

Best way to validate and format json files.
I love https://github.com/rhysd/fixjson to format JSON: it can handle the presence or lack of trailing commas on items. This is incredibly useful for swapping items or adding a new item at the end of a list without getting parse errors because of trailing commas.
