Cannot compile Papyrus scripts, please help
Grab the SkyUI sources here, for other mods they are usually includes with the download or on the Nexus.

What skills do I need to make my own dragon mod?
This is a better link than the one I originally gave. I'm going to edit my original reply to use that link. I verified that the download works for SkyUI SDK 5.1 which is probably the version you need.

How do I create a MCM to toggle perks and spells?

How to install a mod absolutely without any mod manager, even built-in one (plus some nice tricks)
4) Open the SkyUI translation file (with the same language) from https://github.com/schlangster/skyui/tree/master/dist/Data/Interface/Translations (click on the file name, click on the Raw button)

Any mod to detect hotkeys conflict between mods?
This won't help you, but I'd like to mention anyway that the MCM has key conflict detection support built into it, but it has be setup by the mod author when they're creating their MCM. If everyone did this correctly, you wouldn't have this problem. Key Conflict Management is discussed in the MCM Advanced Features.

Recompiling a PSC file error
You need the skyui sdk it contains ski configbase

MCM Creation - How do I enable/disable stuff in game via MCM
Assuming you have covered the ground for basic Papyrus scripting, there is the MCM API documentation which covers regular implementation of an MCM, including standard examples.

Are you a mod author interested in using MCM? The Documentation explains how it works.

My ESP now says <NOT ESL Capable - no more IDs remaining>. What exactly does this mean?
See the The Case for Exclusively Supporting .esm Files in Starfield (midway on the page).

New to PC modding, looking for tips
You can find it here, by the way. Just make sure to run it through MO2, otherwise it won't find your plugins.

STEP Guide 2.2.0 released!
I can see they use xEdit from NM (link) but they also mention only "-SSE" argument on cleaning. 4.0.4 NM version of xEdit also needs "-DontCache" argument, you can read issue 803, it was fixed in further experimental versions but not in the NM release. If anyone use 4.0.4 they absolutely need "-DontCache" to avoid missing parts of Soul Cairn and Apocrypha.

Craftman's Manual Location
xEdit is one of the main modding tools. It allows you to view and edit .ESP, .ESM, and .ESL files, view conflicts between these files, and a whole lot more (I'm really selling it short there). It's available here, with an installation tutorial here

[FO4] "must have a FormID" ?
First, "copy as overwrite into" in FO4Edit 4.0.3 gave me an "assertion failure in line 15543" and empty records, something like this https://github.com/TES5Edit/TES5Edit/issues/651 . Supposedly, it's fixed in TES5Edit 4.0.3h but I have no idea of how to build it from source and if it will work with FO4.
