Static websites are so good that they even have their own three-letter abbreviation: SSG (Static Site Generation). And of course, there are plenty of frameworks that generate them for you, no need in manual labour: Next.js supports SSG, Gatsby is still pretty popular, lots of people love Docusaurus, Astro promises the best performance, and probably many more.

So last time I wrote about integrating with Gridsome "The Jamstack framework for Vue.js" and a GrapQL solution; I've since moved my blog to Astro

In summary, I'd say that if you're a noble gentleman or a lady, you probably should go the migration route and use something like Astro (supports Vue components) or 11ty (lightweight and simple), or basically any static site generator or modern metaframework. But as a bit of a tech eccentric, I'll personally reside here for now, thanks to Bun (which I'm now quite motivated to adopt and research further).

Firstly, if you're developing static HTML websites the old fashioned way, I would highly, highly recommend switching to Astro now and joining us in the 21st Century. It's an excellent framework, produces no JS that you don't add yourself, and also makes using Tailwind properly much more viable.

Enter Astro - the modern framework for content-driven websites. Astro delivers zero-JS-by-default, Islands Architecture for partial hydration, file-based routing, TS and multi-framework (React, Vue, Svelte, etc.) support. These features make it a perfect tool for what we'll be building.

You might be interested in Astro (https://astro.build/), I've build my first project with it, and it's great to somewhat go back to basics, but without needing to set up my own server with templating and tasks for static assets, etc...
