Show HN: It's API doc generator like Stripe, direct from back end (free)
THIS MIGHT INTEREST YOU IF YOU LIKE TO HAVE STRIPE-LIKE DOC FOR YOUR API & SDKs (FREE)...or if you have developers who'd rather wrestle with a grizzly bear than write another line of documentation!
Creating documentation for APIs and SDKs that is developer-friendly can be a nightmare !! I’d been searching for a service that provides output like Stripe and found nothing. So, I've written code to generate real-time API documentation directly from backend. In the coming weeks, I will add an AI completion feature (GPT-4) to it. This will be a ZERO-EMPLOYEE-NEEDED solution for our extensive backend APIs, which include over 1000 endpoints for storefront, backoffice, partner panel, vendors, connect OS, etc.
I’m considering making this an open-source project that could be used freely by anyone. I have just one request: if you could help introduce another open-source project, https://github.com/selldone/storefront, to others, and it gains more than 1,000 stars , I will do it and publish entire code for free on Github!

The Open-Source Storefront to Challenge Shopify
Hey community! I'm excited to share this open-source project I've been working on: a full-featured storefront solution designed to be a viable alternative to Shopify. It's built entirely with Vue.js and comes with a comprehensive set of components and an open API.
But here's the twist – I'm exploring the integration of GPT models (like ChatGPT) to enable building complete websites using simple prompts and pre-built components. Imagine creating a fully functional ecommerce site by just describing what you need!
I believe in the power of open-source and community collaboration. That's why the entire codebase is available on GitHub (https://github.com/selldone/storefront). I'm eager to hear your thoughts, suggestions, and see how we can improve or expand this project together. Your feedback is invaluable, and I'm looking forward to seeing how we can push the boundaries of ecommerce platforms and new possibilities by AI tools.

Can a company open their code for their service?
I am wondering if a company could be operate based on the software that is open source. For example, shuup.com. This business looks like they have provided code on Github(https://github.com/shuup/shuup). Is it a safe thing to do so? Wouldn't hackers abuse by knowing how the system works? If this is a normal thing to do, what are the ups and downs?
What are some alternatives?
