This repo has a lot of pre-made docker compose files. I'd recommend starting with AdGuard-Home, Homer, Watchtower, and Code-Server (if you code).

I recommend Dockstarter if you're not that familiar with docker yet. It helps setting up everything and there's documentation available for every app.

I found someone here with a similar problem, but their solution did not work for me.

PiHole is a pretty great project. It can introduce some microlag at page load which I solved by migrating it from a Pi4 to Ubuntu. https://dockstarter.com/
