Right now I'm holding out hope for some of the ongoing efforts to bring the Snapdragon 845 chipset into mainline Linux. It's a difficult feat, requiring a full open-source driver stack for the device, but its completion could extend the 6T's software shelf-life by far longer than most phones.

One function is not included Android's setjmp.h header that is in Linux one. If you try to build it using modded by io12 apk builder, you will see when compilation breaks https://github.com/io12/WineBox86.apk Other one missing that is required to run Wine for Android is lack of wrapping libhardware. I was able to run some terminal apps like cmd on older version of box86 that was able to compile, but to have GUI we need libhardware afaik.
