remarkable_syncthing VS remarkable2-hacks

If you want to go totally cloud-less, syncthing works very well to mirror folders. It's currently how I make changes to my koreader folder, for instance: https://github.com/Evidlo/remarkable_syncthing

I use syncthing to keep everything synchronized automatically, installed through toltec (there are some notes here that are a bit outdated, but still work). One of the computers this synchronizes to then makes periodic snapshots.

I've been using ReMy and syncthing.

Well, speaking for myself, I just use Syncthing to sync the vector files to my laptop, and then use remy on my laptop to view them any time I want.

Have you tried syncing your files "directly" with something like Syncthing? It seems to work on the ReMarkable: https://github.com/evidlo/remarkable_syncthing
