  • I just cant get it to run properly :(
    2 projects | /r/grocy | 30 Apr 2022
Or you rewrite your own Dockerfile with all the steps to install the desired software. And if you get stuck, you can still look at the official files: https://github.com/grocy/grocy-docker or the Linuxserver.io ones: https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-grocy
  • Automatic recipe import to Grocy - Work in progress
    3 projects | /r/grocy | 24 Apr 2022
I do run my test grocy server within docker https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-grocy, still figuring out how to backup the db ... I assume the grocy docker will import each recipe via an URL?
  • Database Gone After Restart
    1 project | /r/grocy | 9 Mar 2022
The simpler way to start it in Docker is using a prebuilt image, for example https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-grocy (there are others, do a search on github)
  • Trying to get Grocy to work on shared hosting, bit new to all of this
    2 projects | /r/grocy | 31 Aug 2021
I was hoping to get it running without having to use the docker as I followed the links to both grocy/grocy-docker and linuxserver/docker-grocy, but I didn't really get how to get this running on my shared hosting that way. But then again, if someone can help me with that, it's fine by me as well.
  • External Access
    2 projects | /r/grocy | 4 Mar 2021
I know that it is possible to do this (info already linked in another post) however likely a better solution would be to use the docker version of the server.
  • Synology NAS + Docker Tutorial?
    1 project | /r/grocy | 3 Feb 2021
Not very hard, you can easily install it with docker app on synology and follow the install guide : https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-grocy If you really don't understand, you can use the different tutorials on this site, very well done, it will give you a base to install grocy : https://mariushosting.com
  • Hardcoding sqlite path for grocy
    1 project | /r/grocy | 1 Feb 2021
It's not a "binary" or "executable", it's about what the PHP runtime (to be exact PDO_SQLITE) uses / was compiled with. Also asked/discussed here and (partly) there and I still don't know a way to change this at runtime (not grocy specific, generally PHP).
