Realm vs SQLite for local DB?
I have two apps in prod one using https://github.com/andpor/react-native-sqlite-storage and one using https://github.com/realm/realm-js, both offline only, so I guess I can report my experience with those.

Using Expo and Realm with expo-dev-client
The Realm React Native SDK has a hermes branch that is indeed compatible with Hermes. So, it'll work with react-native-reanimated v2 but not with Expo, due to the React Native version the Expo SDK is pinned to.

Going serverless with MongoDB Realm - React.js Version
Realm-Web SDK.

Can we take some time to appreciate how remarkable Expo is?
Also it's trailing in hermes support a bit. I don't follow expo, I assume it's able to use hermes?
- Anyone have any idea about issues of realmdb with hermes engine?

Are there any libraries that I can use or any way to make such audio waveforms? I looked into a library called "react-native-audiowaveform" but it's not being maintained anymore and doesn't work for newer versions of RN
No, I am not yet using the new architecture. Yes turbo modules are based on JSI as well but not using turbo modules. https://blog.notesnook.com/getting-started-react-native-jsi/

React Native JSI: Part 2 - Converting Native Modules to JSI Modules
In this post, I will be discussing how we can convert these Native Modules to React Native JSI modules. I won't touch any of the basics in this post. I have already explained them in the previous part of this series. If you don't know what JSI is or are still confused about it, I recommend that you read it before continuing.
