I want to have a use effect to create a listener for notifications, that shows or hides the notifications based on the current route of the app. Is the best approach to unmount and re mount use effect every time the route changes ? Or is there a better approach for this ?
Did you find a good module to do this for you? I've been trying to use https://github.com/leandrosimoes/react-native-android-notification-listener but it appears to throw an error importing ([TypeError: Cannot read property 'getPermissionStatus' of null]) every time.
