ps4-remote-pkg-installer VS ftpdump

Yes, any pkg in "/data" will be installed when opening internal pkg installer on PS4. Only issue would be that it require 2x storage as the file would still be there and would need to be deleted after install. There is also this and this which uses Remote PKG installer so the file stays on the PC and installs on the Ps4. Don't know if you'd want to implement this feature since there's already tools in doing so and dependent on internet speed.

It almost have the exact features of PS4 Remote PKG Installer GUI, the only thing missing is that preview thingy and also the proxy thingy.

The answer to the titular question is ftpdump. It takes a bit of setting up, but once you have, it is by far the most efficient and reliable way to dump your games.

After some different workflows and methods, I settled on using hippie68's excellent ftpdump script, along with the matching payload. This has worked well for converting a bunch of games, however, I ran into weird stuff when working on No Man's Sky.
