Rounded corners bar plot and smooth line graph visuals
One of my visuals - Small Multiple Line Chart has the option to specify the curve type. You would need to give it something for the Small Multiple field though as it's required.

Page refresh (F5) on PowerBI report doesn't refresh visuals?
As you've noticed, this isn't very easy in Power BI. I used to maintain a Chrome autoclicker to attempt this back in the day, but I decided to replace it with a totally new app from the ground up called Displagent.

Why does Edge crash after keeping open a dashboard for several days?
Not too sure honestly, I'm not sure if it maybe needs a complete page refresh every so often or not. I actually used to maintain a Chrome extension to do this (https://github.com/DMiradakis/Power-BI-Real-Time-Slideshow), and I don't recall my users saying they had an issue like you're describing, but they were on Chrome vs. Edge - not that I would expect that to make a huge difference since Edge is Chromium-powered now... Sorry I can't provide more insight here!

Real-Time dashboard, working 24/7 in kiosk mode.
Background: I had the same need and was the maintainer of the forked Chrome extension Power BI Real-TimeSlideshow for several years. It was by far the best extension available for this kind of thing.

Unattended Displays
Interesting, thanks for the info. This is actually a need I've been contributing to via open source since 2018 (see https://github.com/DMiradakis/Power-BI-Real-Time-Slideshow) but I'm building something from the ground up that is way better. I think it'll be better than both the Chrome tab rotation and refresh extensions as well as the Windows 10 app in the Microsoft Store for a variety of reasons, but I wanted to collect some feedback from users here and see how many people have this need.

Displagent: Unattended Displays, Composable Slideshows, Dataset Refresh
I’m still in the building process, but in a nutshell, this application offers extremely composable slideshows for Power BI reports and a superior scheduling system for refreshing Power BI datasets. I think it absolutely beats any alternatives out there, including the Power BI helper app in the Windows store as well as my own forked Power BI Real-Time Slideshow Chrome extension that I built on GitHub!
