How can I find my downloaded movies?
Android.apk files here: https://github.com/popcorn-official/popcorn-android/releases Not as feature-rich as the desktop versions, though. Can be buggy - for some?

The app stoped working.

No Connection
u/Firestickstruggles what u/Tampammm said, also if the app wont even start its because on some devices fireOS auto-denies the microphone permission that the app asks for the voice search and hides said prompt from you. If that's the case you need to check https://github.com/popcorn-official/popcorn-android/issues/804

Android TV version asks permissions to record audio?
Its for the (never really implemented) voice search feature. Use the mobile app if you don't want to give this permission. Open issue about it at github.com/popcorn-official/popcorn-android/issues/804

How to download to google tv?
I have recently bought a google chromecast for my old tv and I’m trying to download this app. I used this website in Downloader https://github.com/popcorn-official/popcorn-android/releases and, after reading a tread in this form, I downloaded and installed the file named “tv-arm-release-0.3.6.apk”. It worked but it want like the real app. There was like 10 series to choose from so obviously it’s not working properly. So I tried to install the other ones, such as “tv-x86-release-0.3.6.apk”, but it just says that the app isn’t compatible to my tv. What do I do wrong? And is there any other apk to use?

How To Install On Android TV
So I got a chromecast and it launches Android TV. I see in this link here that there is an ARM and x86 build. So my questions are these:

Bitmagnet: A self-hosted BitTorrent indexer, DHT crawler, and torrent search
This is really neat. I'll need to check it out. A couple years ago I ran my own instance of Magnetico (https://github.com/boramalper/magnetico), but this project looks a lot more polished.
-
DHT crawler
This is likely your best bet, but I'd recommend you use postgres over sqlite, this is however where development died so some features like search or stats aren't implemented while using pg as the db.
-
Why isn't distributed/decentralized archiving currently used?
You can create decentralized bittorrent indexers though (see https://github.com/boramalper/magnetico as an example)! This means you can search for bittorrent files without having to rely on a centralized service (although building the index does require some time & storage space of course).

Ask HN: I've Built a DHT Torrent Sniffer and Search Engine. Should I Release?

Someone else did this a while back, universe continues to exist.

Popcorn Time Is Back
I just get a rickroll gif on your link. Did you mean this project?
"Autonomous (self-hosted) BitTorrent DHT search engine suite."

Self Hosted Open Source Torrent Scraper!
Although I admit, that I would love to see a maintained DHT search solution (like magnetico or dhtcrawler2).

Magnetico / Docker question
Yeah, you probably found it. Abandoned, yes, but not necessarily unfinished.
- What is the best local DHT search engine?

I2P applications wish list?
A magnet search is easy enough to self-host, I can provide you with instructions to self-host a clearnet magnet search engine over I2P in the meantime, but you can probably figure it out from this: https://github.com/boramalper/magnetico which is an easy to self-host DHT search engine.
