Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.

Why did John Backus' function-level programming paradigm (distinct from functional programming), demonstrated in the language FP, never catch on? Unlike most programming paradigms, there do not appear to be any modern languages that support it.
