As a developer, how is your experience so far?
Not sure if you are familiar with these repos Plutus Apps and Plutus use-cases . I am not a developer so not sure how much this would help to get up to speed, but there are examples there. Regarding Solidity compatibility Milkomeda is doing a better job than KEVM.
- I want to get into Cardano, but I don't feel like learning Haskell at the moment. What are my options?

Plutus playground is no longer maintained by IOG. What Alternatives?
"Plutus playground is no longer maintained by IOG" - quote from https://github.com/input-output-hk/plutus-apps/issues/653. Can anybody shed some light on it? Why? Is Plutus playground now maintained by some other team or it is just deleted from main repo and that is it?

Honestly, people are putting way too much emphasis on the PAB. PAB is a rollout of releases over time, it’s not something that’s going to hit all at once. If you want to track release updates you can check here
