Hi, I'm using the [react-native-image-picker](https://github.com/react-native-image-picker/react-native-image-picker) library to pick images from the gallery it works really fine.

I'm going to be getting images from the user (using react-native-image-picker) saving them in Firebase Cloud Storage.

Image Picker is a javascript library for react native that provides two methods one for taking image from camera and other from gallery. For using library first install react-native-image-picker in the project directory:

It's simple Java and Objective-C code. Eq. https://github.com/react-native-image-picker/react-native-image-picker/blob/main/android/src/main/java/com/imagepicker/ImagePickerModule.java here is the roughly 200 lines` file. You can build it on your own, however, you need to remember that native code will be needed as you need to retrieve files from the device and it's unreachable from JS code. You need to consider all permissions, especially in iOS.

Agreed. Currently I'm using react-native-image-picker. However I can't mimic this exact behavior with it. So I'm bothered whether I have to develop native modules for this.
