Is there any open-source high-traffic, enterprise React application written in TypeScript with best practices?
Cryptos fallen a bit out of favor late, but Pancakeswap is an excellent large codebase to draw inspiration from. React, Typescript, Styled Components and great examples of how to properly use custom hooks: https://github.com/pancakeswap/pancake-frontend

Get total amount staked (via API)
I don't see a function to get your number of shares. Maybe investigate how the website does it here: https://github.com/pancakeswap/pancake-frontend/issues - the website will use web3 API calls to MetaMask, which will do RPC calls to Binance's node that you input when you configured it for the BSC chain.

How to Connect Frontend with Matic/Polygon
All started with forking https://github.com/goosedefi/goose-frontend-farms as it is a popular one to fork, though I tried to deploy it even without any changes and I ran into bugs one after one. After dozens of tries, I decided it will be better to take this https://github.com/pancakeswap/pancake-frontend as an original (at least, it deploys, even though without my changes yet). I get an understanding how to connect the contracts. The main issue is the following:
- How to deal with ultra-bloated src filled with 30x imports and each small components like input box component need to involve with 10x .tsx files + 100 imports?

Technical Debt: Lessons from 10 Years of Change
But back in 2012, tech debt-related tools were in their infancy. JetBrains released IntelliJ IDEA in 2000, and SonarQube was initially released in 2006. Stepsize started in 2015, and Visual studio intellicode wasn't made by Microsoft until 2018.
