Any linux ricers here? Would like some references to good resources about dotfile and git repo structuring.
2) In addition, while using well made dotfiles has been helpful for learning and spring boarding on, I do struggle with understanding some of the file structure. For example, I've been using https://github.com/owl4ce/dotfiles to reference some of my files from, but while I understand the file content, I'm having difficulty understanding the locations and how they install from git. I'm trying to read about both the dotfile structuring as well as git repo structuring. Any good articles would be helpful.

Script in .config won't launch, but script launches from terminal
This is the script. It's a pretty simple script. I would prefer not to call the command from the script directly because I want to be able to modify the script in the future.

`hash` doesn't seem to be working... how to ensure a command only runs once?
Well I got it working. Turns out there is a tail config option for polybar that lets you output continuous content so the code from https://github.com/altrgeek/bspwm-polybar/blob/master/.config/polybar/scripts/updates.sh now makes a lot more sense.
