Audio Issue
Use the 2nd pre-release, from what it looks like it's just the common audio offset bug from the 3rd pre-release, it only happens in that version. Github link. It should be called pre-release 2nd stage, just click assets and the apk is there.

I'd say keep playing in the 5 star range but aim for higher accuracy fcs, it really helps improvement. Try Tillerino also, to use it you friend him on osu: https://osu.ppy.sh/users/2070907 and message him in game with whatever command u want from here: https://github.com/Tillerino/Tillerinobot/wiki . Its a bot that sends u a map to fc based on your current plays, and its really good if you are looking to farm and stay within a comfortable range for fcs.
